Red Sprites

Red Sprites

Wow, this is amazing! It’s the best red sprite image I’ve ever seen! Maybe ever recorded. Red sprites are upper ionosphere luminosities fueled by lightening. It’s a phenomenon mostly seen by astronauts and rarely by anyone else. Thanks for sharing it Doug. -rf
